“Earl Watson was born on January 1, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. He was raised in the height of the Depression in a small two bedroom home with four sisters and two brothers. At the age of seven the family moved to the Woodlawn area. He was drafted into the Army Engineers at eighteen years of age. He was in the Invasion of Normandy, D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge, and the Battle of the Rhine River. Upon his return, he settled in Hollywood and was the Doorman at the world famous Hollywood Knickerbocker Hotel. He was rated by many as the best in the hotel business. Earl Watson's dreams of Elvis and Sinatra aren't just fantasies.”
